Shocker! I’ve neglected my blog yet again. I am determined to get it all caught up with yumminess from my fall weddings and sessions. I’ve had lots of great stuff already in 2013 so I figured I would just start now with my most recent session and work my way back before the craziness of Spring wedding season hits for me at the end of this month! So, meet Lisa and Josh. That’s baby Jackson cooking there in that sweet belly! I mostly shot weddings and engaged couples for the past few months so when Lisa contacted me about a maternity session I was so excited for something new. Plus, she’s due around the same time that I was due last April so it was fun to reminisce about what I was looking like and feeling like at this very time when pregnant with my own son last year. Man, I sure do miss it! If I could be pregnant and give birth for a living, I would in a heartbeat. Yes, I am crazy. But seriously, even with the unrecognizable shape you grow into, the aches, the pains, the disappearing ankles, it really is the most magical thing I’ve ever experienced. I seriously feel bad for men for not ever being able to experience it. It sure seems to be treating Lisa well! She’s got the most gorgeous hair and skin, don’t you think? We met up in downtown Roanoke for a few photos and then headed to a nearby overgrown field for some yummy golden sunset photos. I hope you enjoy these as much as we enjoyed taking them!
