Ashley, Dino, & EJ | A Fort Worth Family Session

This sweet family has been friends of ours for years! Their adorable baby boy, EJ, was born just a few weeks after Rhett with a birth story straight out of the movies. Dino was on the road playing bass guitar for Casey James and was supposed to be home in plenty of time for the birth of his son, but mother nature had other plans. Instead he got to listen over the phone and watch video with the rest of the guys all huddled around him in awe. Makes me tear up just thinking about it! We had planned to shoot near the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth but that was one big construction site so on a whim, we pulled into a little park on the side of the road and it turned out to be absolute perfection. Yet another example of how there’s no need to stress over the perfect location. All you need is each other, a smile, and some gorgeous light, and your photos will be amazing…
