This gorgeous little squish with the most perfect pouty lips and crazy baby bird hair absolutely stole my heart! And to hear his big sister say “bay-beeeee” while smiling from ear to ear was probably the sweetest thing ever. It totally took me back to those first sleepless and crazy weeks with two under two. My hair might not have been washed very often, dishes might have been piled up in the sink, and my kitchen table might have been completely hidden under a mountain of unfolded clean laundry, but those first few weeks as a new family of four were some of the sweetest weeks of my life. At the time, I might not have told you that. But now that I’ve made it through to the other (more rested) side, I’m sure of it.
